A worked example
2,000 users qualifying days 1–15, then 1,000 for days 16–30. A 30-day month.
2,000·15 + 1,000·15 = 45,000
45,000 × ($0.40 ÷ 30) = $600 that month
There is a bar, and it is worth knowing: a day counts only once the device has been sharing for 60 minutes, so a day below that earns nothing. Above it, every qualifying day is worth exactly the same — one day's share of the monthly rate — whether the device shared for an hour or for all of it.
