Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (this "AUP") is part of the Cash Raven Developer Terms of Service (the "Terms") and applies to every Developer, Developer Application, Developer Key and Device that touches the Cash Raven Network. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms. Violating this AUP is a material breach of the Terms.

Cash Raven may update this AUP at any time under Section 12 of the Terms. The current version governs.

This AUP is not exhaustive. Cash Raven may reasonably treat conduct not expressly listed here as a violation where Cash Raven determines in good faith that it creates a material legal, regulatory, reputational, operational or security risk for Cash Raven, its customers or End Users.

The consent flow is the foundation of the Cash Raven Network. Every requirement below is mandatory. Unless Cash Raven approves a custom Consent Screen in writing, You must use the standard consent flow provided with the SDK. Any custom Consent Screen approved by Cash Raven must satisfy all requirements of this Section and may be reviewed and tested by Cash Raven before production use or an increase of the Trial Limit.

1.1 The Consent Screen must:

be presented before any bandwidth or IP address is shared, on the Device where sharing will occur;
be a standalone screen or dialog dedicated to bandwidth sharing — not a line item inside a general terms acceptance, onboarding carousel, permissions batch, or paywall;
state in plain language, in the End User's display language, that the End User is agreeing to share their internet bandwidth and IP address;
state that third parties will send internet traffic through the device and that websites and services will see the device's IP address as the origin of that traffic;
state clearly what, if anything, the End User receives in return and any conditions applicable to that benefit;
link to the current Cash Raven SDK End User Terms and SDK Privacy Notice;
offer a decline option of equal visual prominence to the accept option; and
require a deliberate affirmative action to accept (a tap, click, or toggle the End User turns on).

1.2 The Consent Screen must not: use pre-ticked boxes, default-on toggles, or "continue means you agree" constructions; make the accept button visually dominant over decline; obscure or delay the decline option; condition core app functionality the End User has already paid for on acceptance; use countdown timers, disappearing decline options, misleading iconography, or any other design that pressures acceptance; describe the feature only in euphemism (for example "help support the app," "background optimization," "network boost") without the substantive disclosure required by 1.1.

1.3 Opt-out. A control to turn sharing off must be reachable at all times from an obvious location inside the Developer Application, must cause the Developer Application to immediately invoke the SDK’s required stop functionality and cease all bandwidth and IP address sharing through the Device, and must not be hidden behind a support request, retention flow or account deletion. You may present at most one retention prompt per opt-out event.

1.4 Re-prompting. After an End User declines or opts out, You may not immediately re-present the Consent Screen or repeatedly prompt the End User in a manner that is disruptive, misleading or intended to pressure acceptance. Unless Cash Raven approves otherwise in writing, the Consent Screen may not be presented more than once in any thirty (30)-day period following a decline or opt-out.

1.5 Records. You must log every opt-in and opt-out as required by Section 5.5 of the Terms and produce those records on request.

1.6 Language and accessibility. The Consent Screen must be localized into every language in which the Developer Application is offered and must be readable by assistive technology. Cash Raven may require the Developer to provide copies, recordings or screenshots of each localized Consent Screen for review.

2. Prohibited applications and audiences

You may not integrate the SDK into, or enable sharing through, any application that:

is directed to children, is a "mixed audience" application, is listed in a family, kids or education program on any app marketplace, or that You know or reasonably should know is used primarily by people under 18;
collects age information indicating the End User is under 18, unless sharing is disabled for that End User;
is marketed as a VPN, privacy tool, security tool, ad blocker, antivirus, parental-control application, device-cleaning utility, or similar product, unless Cash Raven has reviewed and approved the integration in writing;
is a clone, repackaged build, or unauthorized modification of another party's application;
is distributed by means other than the End User's deliberate installation, including bundled installers, drive-by installs, browser extensions installed by other software, pre-installed images the End User did not choose, or any distribution channel that installs software silently;
contains or is distributed with malware, adware, spyware, stalkerware, cryptominers, click-fraud or install-fraud modules, or software flagged by reputable security vendors;
is a gambling, adult content, loan, or other application in a category that You have not disclosed to Cash Raven and Cash Raven has not approved in writing;
is designed primarily to acquire devices for bandwidth sharing rather than to deliver its stated function to End Users; or
Cash Raven notifies You is not eligible.

3. Prohibited technical and integration practices

You may not:

run the SDK, or allow it to run, without a current valid opt-in for the Device;
run the SDK on emulators, virtual machines, containers, cloud instances, datacenter IP space, device farms, "phone farms," or any device not in the ordinary personal use of an individual End User;
generate, simulate, replay, spoof, or otherwise manipulate Devices, device identifiers, IP addresses, geolocation signals, session activity, uptime or any other metric used to measure Network contribution;
operate, or knowingly permit, more than one Developer Account, Developer Key or Developer Application to represent the same Devices as distinct;
modify, wrap, patch, hook, hot-patch, or intercept the SDK, or alter its network behavior, telemetry, throttling, caps or reporting;
suppress, delay, or falsify SDK telemetry, error reporting, or consent signals;
run the SDK while the Developer Application is uninstalled, disabled, or after the End User opts out;
disable or interfere with Cash Raven's ability to remotely disable a Developer Key, throttle a Device, or halt sharing;
resell, sublicense, broker, white-label or otherwise make the Cash Raven Network available to any third party, or use it to supply any other proxy, VPN or bandwidth-sharing network;
integrate the SDK alongside another bandwidth-sharing or proxy SDK on the same Device without Cash Raven's prior written consent; or
circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, the Trial Limit or any rate limit, cap, suspension or ban.

4. Device and network eligibility

Sharing may be enabled only on a Device that the End User owns or is authorized to control, connected to a network the End User is authorized to share. You may not enable sharing on devices connected to employer, school, government, corporate, hotel, airport, café or other shared or public networks where the End User lacks authority to permit third-party traffic, and You must include this restriction in Your own End User terms.

5. Prohibited traffic and conduct

You may not use, authorize, facilitate or knowingly permit any person under Your control to use the SDK, a Developer Application, or access made available through Your Developer Account or Developer Keys to:

violate any applicable law or regulation, including data protection, consumer protection, computer misuse, wiretap, unfair or deceptive practices, export control and sanctions law;
transmit, host or facilitate child sexual abuse material, or any content that exploits or endangers a minor;
conduct fraud, phishing, credential stuffing, account takeover, carding, click fraud, install fraud, ad fraud or ticket scalping in violation of law;
distribute malware, ransomware or exploit kits;
conduct denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, vulnerability probing, or unauthorized access attempts against any system;
send spam or bulk unsolicited messages;
infringe intellectual property rights or misappropriate trade secrets;
harass, stalk, threaten or surveil any individual; or
evade sanctions or route traffic for any restricted party.

6. Data handling

You may not send Cash Raven, or configure the SDK to transmit, any of the following: special category or sensitive personal data; precise geolocation; contact lists; photographs, files, messages, call logs, browsing history or content; account credentials; payment card or financial account numbers; government identifiers; biometric data; or data about any person under 18.

You must maintain a published privacy policy for each Developer Application that accurately describes the bandwidth sharing and the data flows to Cash Raven, and must keep app marketplace data-safety and privacy disclosures accurate and current.

7. Compliance, reporting and cooperation

Report suspected abuse, fraud or security issues to partnerships@cashraven.io. You must respond to Cash Raven compliance inquiries within the period stated in Section 6.3 of the Terms, and must cooperate with investigations of abuse originating from Your Devices.

8. Enforcement

Cash Raven may respond to a suspected violation in any manner it considers appropriate, in its sole discretion and without prior notice, including:

issuing a warning and requiring remediation within a stated period;
throttling, capping or rate-limiting traffic from affected Devices or Developer Keys;
disabling specific Devices, Developer Applications or Developer Keys;
suspending or terminating the Developer Account and the Terms;
withholding, offsetting or reversing any amounts otherwise payable under a Commercial Agreement, including for Devices determined to be fraudulent or non-consenting;withholding, offsetting or reversing any amounts otherwise payable under a Commercial Agreement, including for Devices determined to be fraudulent or non-consenting;
banning affiliated accounts, entities and principals from the Cash Raven Network; and
reporting the conduct to app marketplaces, regulators or law enforcement, and cooperating with them.

Cash Raven's decision not to enforce a provision in one instance is not a waiver of its right to enforce it later.
