In short

Some apps include Cash Raven software. If you turn it on, your device's spare internet connection is used to carry web traffic for Cash Raven's business customers, and websites those customers visit will see your IP address instead of theirs. You can turn it off at any time inside the app. We do not read your files, messages, photos, or browsing.

1. Who you are agreeing with

These SDK End User Terms ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Cash Raven, LLC, a Nebraska limited liability company ("Cash Raven," "we," "us").

They apply when you turn on bandwidth sharing inside an application published by a third party (the "App," published by the "Publisher") that includes the Cash Raven software development kit (the "SDK").

The Consent Screen must identify the App and Publisher through which You are enabling bandwidth sharing. The Publisher is responsible for providing accurate identifying and contact information in the App and in its own terms and privacy policy.

Your relationship with the App itself is with the Publisher, not with us. The Publisher's own terms and privacy policy govern the App. We are responsible only for the SDK and the Cash Raven Network, and for what we do with the information described in the Cash Raven SDK Privacy Notice (https://cashraven.io/legal/sdk-privacy).

You accept these Terms by taking a clear affirmative action on the Consent Screen to enable bandwidth sharing after being given the opportunity to review these Terms and the SDK Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not turn it on — and if it is already on, turn it off in the App.

2. What you are agreeing to

When bandwidth sharing is on:

Your device becomes an exit point on the Cash Raven Network. Cash Raven's business customers send internet requests through your device.
Websites and services those customers reach will see your IP address as the source of that traffic, not theirs. They may also see general information your network exposes, such as your approximate location and internet provider.
Traffic passes through Your Device using Your internet connection. It is separate from Your own internet activity and may not be visible through the ordinary interface of the App or Device.
Traffic volume and timing may vary based on customer demand, Device and network availability, geographic location, applicable limits, SDK settings, and Cash Raven’s network controls.

Cash Raven's customers use the network for purposes such as market research, price comparison, ad verification, brand protection, search engine result checking, and web data collection. We contractually require our customers to use the network lawfully, and we investigate reports of misuse — but we cannot guarantee the conduct of every customer.

3. What the SDK does not do

The SDK does not:

read, collect, or transmit your files, photos, contacts, text messages, call logs, emails, passwords, or browsing history;
change, monitor, intercept or route your own internet activity;
act as a VPN, proxy or privacy tool for you;
install other software, display advertising, or mine cryptocurrency;
give anyone remote access to your device.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to turn on bandwidth sharing. If you are under 18, do not enable it. If we learn that sharing has been enabled on a device belonging to a person under 18, we will disable it and delete the associated information.

You must also not be located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions, and must not be a person identified on a U.S., UK or EU restricted-party list.

5. Your device and your network

You may enable sharing only on a device you own or are authorized to control, connected to a network you are authorized to let others use. Do not enable it on a work, school, government, hotel, café, airport or other shared or public network unless you have permission from whoever runs it. You are responsible for confirming that Your internet service agreement and network rules allow You to share the connection with third parties. If they do not, You must not enable sharing.

6. Turning it off

You can turn bandwidth sharing off at any time from inside the App. When you do, sharing stops immediately, and will not resume unless you turn it back on. You can also stop sharing by uninstalling the App. Turning it off may mean you stop receiving whatever the Publisher offered you in exchange — that is the Publisher's decision, not ours.

7. Rewards come from the Publisher

Any in-app currency, ad-free experience, premium feature, points, credits or other benefit you receive for sharing is provided by the Publisher. Cash Raven does not owe you any payment, reward or compensation of any kind under these Terms, and is not responsible if the Publisher fails to deliver what it promised. Any dispute about a reward is between you and the Publisher.

8. Data usage, battery and device performance

The SDK is designed to prefer unmetered connections and to limit its use of your device's resources, and we use reasonable efforts to avoid using cellular or other metered data. We cannot guarantee this on every device, network, operating system version or configuration. You are responsible for any data charges, overage fees or throttling your provider applies, and for any effect on battery life, device temperature or network speed. No reimbursement or compensation is owed to you for those costs.

If you are on a metered or capped plan, we recommend enabling sharing only on Wi-Fi.

9. Your information

The Cash Raven SDK Privacy Notice explains what information Cash Raven collects or receives in connection with bandwidth sharing, why it is used, how it is shared and retained, and the choices and rights available to You. Please read it. By turning on sharing you confirm you have had the opportunity to read it.

10. Acceptable use

You agree to follow the Cash Raven SDK Acceptable Use Policy (https://cashraven.io/legal/sdk-aup). In particular, you may not run the SDK on emulators, virtual machines, or device farms; may not use multiple devices or spoofed identifiers to inflate activity; and may not tamper with, modify or reverse engineer the SDK. We may disable sharing on any device that violates that policy.

11. Intellectual property

The SDK is licensed, not sold. Cash Raven and its licensors own all rights in it. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to have the SDK run on your device while sharing is on. You may not copy, modify, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, extract, or attempt to discover the source code, file formats or protocols of the SDK, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.

12. Suspension and termination

We may stop, suspend or disable sharing on your device at any time, for any reason, including suspected abuse, fraud, security risk, legal requirement, or because the Publisher's access has ended. These Terms end when sharing is turned off or the App is uninstalled. Sections 9 through 16 survive.

13. Disclaimer

THE SDK IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT SHARING WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL GENERATE ANY PARTICULAR LEVEL OF ACTIVITY OR REWARD. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, and consumers in the EEA, the UK and certain other jurisdictions have statutory rights that these Terms do not affect.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CASH RAVEN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR DEVICE OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SDK OR THESE TERMS. CASH RAVEN'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50.00).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version at https://cashraven.io/legal/sdk-terms and, where the change is material, ask the Publisher to present it to you or require a fresh opt-in. Continuing to share after the effective date means you accept the update. If you do not agree, turn sharing off.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, and you consent to jurisdiction and venue there. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA, the UK, or another jurisdiction whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your place of residence and to the protection of your local mandatory consumer law, nothing in this section removes that right.

Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, unless applicable law provides otherwise. Claims must be brought individually and not as part of a class or representative action, to the extent permitted by law.
